MODIFIED WORK SCHEDULE IN RESPONSE TO CORONA VIRUS PANDEMIC
Garvey, Steele & Bancroft’s driving mission is to make certain our clients are receiving excellent and timely service. However we now find ourselves in uncharted waters with an historic pandemic presenting itself to us. Our response has to be to protect the health and well being of our employees and their families. Therefore we are closing our offices at the end of the day Friday Decmber 4, 2020 through January 3, 2021 but we continue to monitor and extend this date as needed.
Our firm has put in place extensive technologies which allow our employees to work remotely without much disruption. We have had this technology in place for several years and our audit teams have used this technology seamlessly. The systems have all the necessary protections and safeguards that you would expect from companies dealing in financial information.
Our plan is as follows: certain personnel will be in the Mystic office from 8-5 on Monday through Friday. We will have a locked drop box outside our front door where you can deposit your tax return documentation. You may also mail your tax return documentation. Lastly you may upload/email your information through our secure portal. We will only be scheduling Zoom meetings or phone calls at this time. Under no circumstance will we open the door to clients, we do not want to risk our or your health.
As returns are completed, we will either mail them to you or email them to you via our secure portal.
These extraordinary measures are required in order to preserve the health of our employees and to help stop the spread of the virus. That being said we acknowledge our commitment to our clients to continue working on your files.
Additionally, we will return phone calls and emails as expeditiously as possible under the circumstances.
On behalf of the entire Garvey, Steele & Bancroft team, thank you for your understanding and we wish you and your families continued good health.
